Edit automation task

(Updated: )

To edit the settings of an automation task—Smart Scan, Malware Scan, or Application Updates—configured within your CleanMyMac Business Organization:

  1. Sign in to your Owner or Admin account in the Admin Dashboard, then go to Automation.

  2. In a task widget, for example, in Smart Scan, click Edit.

Alternatively, you can go to the task details and click Edit there in the upper-right corner.

  3. In the task settings, change the following as needed:

    • Name of the task
    • Date and time to force task execution at
    • Number of reminders shown to users before the task is forced
    • Types of system junk to clean during the task execution
    Note

You can't edit the task start date and time, and the repeat interval—to change these, you have to create and configure the task anew.

Click Save Automation to save changes and close the task settings—updated settings will take effect after the current task cycle finishes.

Click Close at the bottom or the Close icon ( The Close icon ) at the top, or press the Esc (Escape) key to discard changes and close the task settings.
