Install and activate
(Updated: )CleanMyMac is available on several marketplaces: the MacPaw Store, the App Store, and Setapp. You can choose any of them, but please note that the functionality of CleanMyMac is slightly different on the App Store.
Below are the steps you need to take to install and activate CleanMyMac, depending on your preferred marketplace.
Download CleanMyMac.
Double-click the downloaded
CleanMyMac.dmgfile and drag the CleanMyMac icon to your Applications folder.Open CleanMyMac and click Unlock Full Version in the top-right corner of the app window.
To start a free trial, click Try 7 Days Free – unlock and try all app features and tools.
To purchase CleanMyMac from the MacPaw Store, click Buy Now.
Click "I already have a license" in the top-right corner of the dialog.
Sign in with your MacPaw Account credentials (email and password).
If you entered your credentials correctly, CleanMyMac unlocks its functionality.
Great! Now that you've installed and activated CleanMyMac, it's time to start taking care of your Mac.
