Organize photo library

(Updated: )

CleanMy®Phone makes it easy to keep your photo library organized and well curated. To do this, the Organize module lets you:

  • Review and remove similar photos
  • Manage all videos in one place—tap the Videos shortcut
  • Compress videos into a storage-saving format
  • Convert Live Photos to still images
  • Explore and clean up photos and videos by category

To review your photos and videos by category and remove what you don't need:

  1. On the tab bar, tap Organize.

If you open CleanMy®Phone for the first time after installation, you have to scan your photo library—tap Scan, grant full access to Photos, then wait for it to finish.

After that, each time you open the app, it automatically spots new photos and videos. And if CleanMy®Phone runs in the background, it continues detecting any new items.

  2. In the AI categories section, tap a category to open it.

    1. Look carefully through the items in both the Similars and Unique groups and select those you want to delete.

    2. If you need to take a closer look at a photo or video, tap it to open full screen.

In the full-screen view, you can slightly enhance the item if it's a photo, add it to an album or Favorites, view file metadata, share it, or save it to Sensitive so the app ignores it in future scans.

    3. Tap Clean, then tap Delete to remove the selected items in the group.

    4. Review summary, then tap Continue to go back to the group.

    5. When you're done with a category, tap the Close button (x) in the upper-left corner to return to the scan results and continue with other categories.

Done! Your photo library is much leaner now.
