Assign device licenses
(Updated: )In CleanMyMac Business, a device license represents a "permission" for an Organization user to enroll their Mac computer—allowing them to install the desktop app, sign in to their account, and have the device monitored and maintained by Admins in the Dashboard.
As the Owner or an Admin, you can assign as many device licenses as needed (within the limit provided by your CleanMyMac Business plan), depending on how many Mac computers each user needs to enroll in your Organization.
To assign device licenses to users, sign in to your account in the Admin Dashboard, then go to Users and Licenses.
To assign device licenses to a single user:
Find the user you want to assign licenses to, then do one of the following:
Click Options (
) to the right of the user entry and choose Assign License.Click the user entry to open their details, then click Assign License on the upper right.
The Assign Licenses dialog opens.
In the open dialog, select or enter the number of licenses to assign, then click Send Licenses.
The number of assigned device licenses is updated immediately. Users will receive a notification email with a link to download the CleanMyMac Business desktop app and enroll their Mac computers.
