To start cleaning up your cloud storage—iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or OneDrive—you first need to connect it to CleanMyMac.

You can connect one iCloud Drive and one OneDrive account at a time. For Google Drive, you can connect multiple accounts, but the number is limited by how many can sync simultaneously through the Google Drive app (learn more).

Note

Currently, CleanMyMac supports only locally synced cloud accounts. Make sure the account is synced with your Mac before connecting it.

Ensure iCloud Drive is set up on your Mac.

Once your cloud storage is synced locally:

  1. Open CleanMyMac and go to Cloud Cleanup.

  2. Connect your cloud storage:

    • If you haven't added any cloud connections yet, click Connect iCloud, Connect Google Drive, or Connect OneDrive—whichever you want to connect.

    • If you've already added at least one cloud connection, click Add Another Cloud and choose the service you want to add.

Wait for CleanMyMac to establish the connection.

That's it! You can now scan your cloud storage, explore its contents, and remove unnecessary files to keep everything clean and organized.
