App permissions
(Updated: )To make the most of the CleanMy®Phone capabilities and use its features to the full extent, you should give the app the following permissions:
Full access to Photos—to scan and process your entire photo library so you can remove clutter and organize media files.
Access to notifications—to show you notifications and alerts, including banners, sounds, and badges.
Access to tracking—to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites to understand what led you to CleanMy®Phone and how to communicate its value better.
Access to location—to show your network details correctly when testing internet connection speed.
CleanMy®Phone asks you to grant access to notifications and tracking when you open the app for the first time after installation; access to Photos—when you scan your photo library for the first time after installation; and access to location—if you explicitly choose to grant this permission when testing your network connection speed.
Also, each time you choose to delete any photos or videos, the app asks for your permission to complete the action.
Since CleanMy®Phone was designed and built with data privacy and security in mind, you can always turn the app permissions on or off as follows:
Open Settings.
Find CleanMy®Phone and tap it.
Tweak permissions to your preference.
Turning permissions off can change the way CleanMy®Phone performs its primary functions and influences your user experience.
